Morocco Remix AV – L’Aubaine with DJ mix of Ekay – LPM 2024

The full performance of “Morocco Remix“, audiovisual (AV) performance presented at Live Performers Meeting – Morocco edition 2024

The “Morocco Remix” is an updated and remixed version of the AV performance “Morocco”, premiered in 2015 and evolving through the years.
For this edition, I’ve added new elements, 3D landscapes and footages filmed on the way to the desert. I created all my content.

The soundtrack is a collaboration with DJ E-Kay, an expert in Moroccan house and electronic music from North Africa. And I’ve added some field recordings over the DJ mix.
Tracklist:
Tawana (feat Aicha Maya) – @mr.id.official
Skanja (radio edit) – Omary & @mehdi_nassouli
Manayou (feat Said Damir) – FNX, ADA remix
Lilia – Younes B

The project draws inspiration from multiple visits to Morocco, contributing to its ongoing creative evolution. “Morocco Remix” is a road-trip captured through impressions, memories, and amusing anecdotes, employing hand-drawn animations, pattern drawings, and video footages. All theses elements synchronized with hypnotic rhythms of the music added with movements of patterns and colours, embark the audience on a unique journey.

Filming: Studio Mosha
